About me
Through Yin Yoga I found my way to holistic balance and today I support people on their health and spiritual path as an instructor and coach.
My yin yoga path to a healthy balance
Through Yin Yoga, I finally found my holistic balance in life. I used to live a very Yang life, characterized by intensive martial arts practice and my pronounced
perfectionism. I didn’t recognize my limits, did too much for others and at some point could no longer bear it. After several operations and a burnout, yoga became
my way of healing my body and mind and dissolving learned belief patterns.
I started my journey with various trainings in Yang-influenced yoga styles such as Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Kundalini yoga. But somehow an important aspect was always missing. My search, as well as a strong love of anatomy, led me to Paul and Suzee Grilley’s Yin Yoga Teacher Training in 2010. Here I finally found what I had been looking for for so long.

Yin Yoga gave me the peace I had longed for and a sense of arrival.
In addition to my own yoga and meditation practice, I had my own yoga studio in Germany for many years. I now live in Valencia, Spain, and am not only a yin yoga teacher and instructor, but also an author, nutritionist, energy worker, holistic health consultant and spiritual coach. This enables me to work holistically and integrate different approaches into my consultations.
My high sensitivity and empathy help me to respond very individually to each person. My authentic and clearly structured approach is always particularly appreciated.
In 2011, my first book “Yin Yoga – The Gentle Path to the Inner Center” was voted “Best Yoga Book of the Year” by “Yogaguide”. This positive response to my first book touched me deeply and gave me an important sign that I was on the right path. I have since released many DVDs and written six books, which have been translated into seven languages.
“Your own body is your most important yoga teacher”
This quote from my first Yin Yoga book describes the essence of what Yin Yoga means to me: I want to support people in getting to know themselves better, understanding their own body language and finding access to their inner self. In doing so, I respect the uniqueness and needs of each individual.
Thanks to Yin Yoga, I found my center again and would like to pass on this experience in my trainings. Teaching Yin Yoga is a soul mission for me and it is still the greatest gift to see how other people develop through it.
It is my intention to offer you a safe framework both in my training courses and in my coaching sessions, so that you can engage in the experience with complete confidence.
