Module 01

Yin Yoga, anatomy, sequences & meridians

In this module, you gain important basic knowledge about practicing and teaching Yin Yoga. Even if you have already completed yoga training, you are sure to learn plenty of new things here. This is because quite different principles apply to practicing Yin compared to the practice of Yang.

Content of the training

  • 2 extended Yin sequence sessions
  • Yin Yoga and the individual anatomy of the body (especially the upper body)
  • Yin Yoga and the development of pain through stretching the fascia
  • The use of supports in Yin Yoga and alternative positions in the event of limitations
  • Meaningful structuring of sequences
  • Yin Yoga and meridians
  • Time for any questions

Cost of the training

The cost per training weekend is €319 (this applies to the sessions in Lindlar). A portion of the training fee is donated to the children’s charity “Plan” for their international projects.

General information on the training

For the basic module, we use the book – “Yin Yoga – The Gentle Way to Inner Balance” as a work book. Please practice at least 3 times before the training starts, using the DVDs “Yin Yoga – The Gentle Way to Inner Balance” or “Yin Yoga – The Relaxed Way to Balance and Health”

At the end of the weekend there is a certificate for participation: 25 UE for the basic training. Reading my book and working with my DVD are counted as “non-contact hours.” I am registered as a teacher with the Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500) and the hours can be credited there.

Please let me know before taking part if you have any health limitations.
